The department of Mechanics provides training at Holeta polytechnic College on level I and level II. It also trains skilled manpower for local Industries.
It also provides the trainees with knowledge, skill and right attitude which make them competent in real world and prepare students for productive and satisfyingoccupations in Mechanics department.
There is a good chance that graduates of this profession will be employed directly, because there are so many industries in the area.
